My Photo

  • I used to sew a lot. Life intervened but now I am finding my way back. Expect me to ramble on and on about clothes, sewing, fitting, and both the things I make and the things I dream of making. If this doesn't frighten you off, check out my knitting blog as well.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I'm jealous. :-( Looks like you all had a fabulous time!

So, it's working? Glad you got it finished before the end of class. I finally walked into my house at 7PM CSTtonight.
Seeing the pics reminds me, I want the info on that pin bowl you use. What does one ask for at the auto parts store?

Mardel, it was too wonderful. HUGS, Marji

What a fabulously fashionable group you are!

I'm so happy that you've got great muslins to start your projects with...and it was wonderful seeing you again!

It was so great to meet you, and I'm glad you found this class worthwhile. I recognize one of the women who took the class with me in the summer—I think her name is Mary and she works at Columbia U?

Sounds like you all had a wonderful time! I bet you are all enthused to get some sewing done.

It was a wonderful class and I loved meeting you In Real Life!

From what I've heard and read about Kenneth King and Susan Khalje they are experts in their field and are excellent teachers and it is so evident from everyone's excitement and enthusiasm after taking their classes. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Are you incredibly tired by all the sewing? Or does it get easier as you go along (and have experience). Please tell me it gets easier.
